Timefall, 2023
Galeria Francisco Fino is delighted to announce Karlos Gil’s solo show Timefall, at CA2M, from February 18th to May 21st. The exhibition showcases two new audiovisual productions — Peripheral and Origin —, as well as works from ongoing series, such as De- extinction (2016-2022) and Stay Gold (2015-2023), among others. The various works presented at Timefall are a reflection of Gil’s practice and his interest on how objects and their meaning are transformed when placed in new environments, using abstraction, fragmentation and memory to create new narratives and readings, collapsing the temporal distance between past, present and future.
