Eros and Thanatos is a sculptural installation (24 clay human figures on metal tripods) that looks to the past, using figures from Greco-Roman mythology to think critically about the human condition. The performance of the bodies and actions of the terracotta figures allows us to critically rethink the ambiguity of interpersonal relationships; between identity and power; sexuality and gender, the geography of endearment and the drives of desire and passion as opposed to death.
